Plus some other stuff.) Mostly I've decided to go this way because I seem to generally not feel like making pics that will fit here, once I get through making the required ones for MTS. Like some lots, because it'll be easier to put 'em here. (And I do have some stuff I want to put here. In fact, I've kinda decided that I'm really only going to put stuff here that isn't on MTS. :)īut before we get to the madness, have some stuff I put on MTS that I didn't put here. I hope all of you who might still watch this thing are all well. Unless you, too, are playing the game on a cheap-o netbook. Exciting, eh? Unfortunately, I'm also stuck with crappy netbook graphics, but at least that means you can be relatively certain that anything I make in the foreseeable future will likely look better in your game than in mine. Or Body Shop, I suppose, if I decided to be really insane and make some clothes. Unfortunately, SimPE runs at the speed of a glacier on Quaaludes on this thing, so unless I'm in the mood to drive myself batty (Which, you know, isn't out of the realm of possibility), I'm pretty much stuck with Homecrafter. And just recently I was really jonesing to make something. ) Right now, I'm staying at his place in California because I'm out here doing some soundtrack work, and I'll be here until mid-December.Īnyway, because I've been out of the house, away from my desktop and therefore away from my precious game, I decided to buy myself a little netbook to play the game on until it explodes, at which point I'll buy another little netbook to replace it. So, he keeps me busy on many different levels. And he's a younger-than-me-by-almost-20-years boyfriend, to boot, because he likes older women. I'm in total head-over-heels lurve for the first time in my 49 years of life because the head-over-heels thing was never really applicable to my ex-husband. Yes, I did, and it's gotten serious pretty quickly. The short version is I've been working a lot, which has required a lot of traveling, even over to Europe a couple of times. ( Color swatch and download link are back here. So, I hit up real-world siding manufacturers, sampled their colors, and then just stuck 'em on the Maxis texture. Plus, I got tired of looking at Maxis's stuff and the few custom ones I have in this pared-down game I'm playing, and I decided to make some of my own instead of searching for some to download.
I just expanded the color options because all of Maxis's are, IMO, too pale/pastel-y to be universally usable. And by "simple recolors" I mean that I didn't even edit the textures like I usually do. It's just some simple recolors of Maxis's "Simple Siding," probably my favorite of Maxis's sidings. īut I also have something else, something that I think is just far too basic to submit to MTS but that might be of use to others, so I'll put it here.
Actually, I brought two downloads, one that got through the queue at MTS before I could be arsed to put it here.So I'm just gonna link! It's a bunch of carpets, not very exciting, but they're nice.
